Assistant Head Coach Shanelle Robinson is a Jamaican raised Hinkley High School alum who graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a degree in Sports and Exercise Science and a minor in Coaching. This fall she completed her first season as a head cross country coach, so distance is her jam, and during school hours she guides our Angels as the College and Career Navigator at East.

Energy, culture, and community are what she brings every day. A longtime distance runner and the 2009 Skyline Athletic Conference Cross Country Champion, she came up under Coach Carhart, gave him his first league title, and still carries his lessons with her: run with intention, compete with heart, and always show up for your team.

Robinson has been coaching for over seven years, and nothing hits like watching athletes realize they are capable of more than they thought. Distance running teaches patience, belief, and resilience, and helping athletes grow into confident leaders is her mission. She is here to build a culture where the team works hard, supports each other, and has fun doing it.
