Coach Kohuth has been at East for over 20 years, where he also serves as a school counselor. As head cross country coach he has won countless league championships and developed three state champions, building the program into a perennial Colorado powerhouse.

He has also been head track coach in recent seasons, guiding Rosie Mucharsky to a three peat in the 5A 800m from 2023 to 2025, and is now shifting his focus to the jumps, where he excelled as an athlete. One of the most trusted and loved people at East, Coach Kohuth remains a steadying force on the track in 2026.
