Coach BaJa Robinson, pronounced Bah-zhay, has coached throwers since her days as a collegiate athlete at Fort Hays State University, where she threw the shot, discus, and weight and earned a degree in Social Work. She began coaching at her alma mater, Hinkley High School, and has followed Coach Carhart to Rangeview and Eaglecrest before joining him at East.
Her technical expertise is matched by a gift for making every athlete feel like the most important person in the world, an approach that has produced 14 league champions and 16 state qualifiers, including 8 placers, and built throws programs with huge numbers at every stop. Off the track she is the family liaison at Murphy Creek K-8, the head volleyball coach at Aurora Central and Relentless Volleyball Club, and a defensive tackle for the Mile High Blaze football team.
